MSG JFL 2011 WEEK 6 REVIEW

Week 6 of the competition has passed with good results for the organizing committee of MSG Junior Football League. Based on the league standing so far, not so many changes had happened. In group A the top two spots still belong to SMP Muhammadiyah 8 and SMP Yapenka. Yapenka is closely followed by SMP Labschool Kebayoran Football Team by a goal difference.

Meanwhile, in Group B the top spots are also still occupied by the same teams.  SMP 11 (1),  SMP 19 (2) and SMP Al-Izhar Pondok Labu (3) football teams were successfully hold their ground. However, there were improvements made by SMP AL Ikhlas (from 5th to 4th) and by SMP Yapenka which with their 6-0 win over SMP 216 has been able to move from 7th to 5th position.

In the last week of the competition at AL Azhar Pusat football field, MSG Junior Football League has received a special guest from KOMPAS TV. The TV’s team conducted live telecast for one of its programs from the competition venue. But on the side, we are witnessed an accident happened on one of the player from SMP Yasporbi 1.  Due to His assist effort for the team’s striker, Angga must experience a serious foot injury that forced Him to leave the game for further treatment and retired from the competition as well.  It was the only goal made in the game and brought SMP Yasporbi to their first win of the season. Sadly he couldn’t be there on the field to celebrate the victory with His team mate.  Get well soon Angga.

MSG Junior Football League matches for the upcoming three week will move into Al-Izhar PondokLabu’s football field and Blok-S’ football field. Seven games will be held  Al-Izhar for weeks 7 and  3 games will be held at Blok-S. in addition the size of the field will also be fixed by the committee. The field size will become more proportional to be played by 11 people team.

The week  7 will be held on October 29, 2011 and will be a thrilling week and full of close rivalry. It is because the fact that the qualifying round will be completed on the week 9 and will determine which are the 6 best teams to advance to the next round.
